1. In Model Explorer's left-hand pane, select the model in which you want to add a new Association Type.

2. In the Outlook bar, click Association Types.

3. Double-click the required Association Type.
   
   You can also edit predefined Association Types: for example, you can add a Name and Reverse Name to the Association Type.

4. On the Association Type Properties dialog, you can change the Name and Reverse Name, the name of the Intersection object, add user-defined help, or change other details.

1. In Model Explorer's left-hand pane, select the model in which you want to add a new Association Type.

2. In the Outlook bar, click Association Types.

3. Select the required Association Type.

4. Right-click Delete.

You cannot delete an Association Type if it has already been used to associate object instances.
